A regular day in Bali

A regular day in Bali

A normal day for us (at least it has been for this past week) is waking up late, hanging by the pool, sunbathing and eating delicious food.

Since school hasn't yet begun, we have been taking it easy! We have gotten up around 11.00 am in the morning, eaten some breakfast at the villa and just sunbathed. I have to say that having your own pool has been the best thing ever because it can be super hot out here.

We have eaten such amazing foods in different kinds of restaurants and coffee shops. The food here is fresh, it has a lots of different flavors and most of all it's cheap as chips!

If you're ever coming to Bali and like vegan or vegetarian food I can already recommend a few places to eat here in Canggu: The Shady Shack, Bali Bowls & Smoothies and Nüde.

I also have to praise the Indonesian food: it's super tasty especially nasi goreng, bakmi goreng and tempeh! You can get local food almost everywhere and if a restaurant is called Warung you know that's the place to go to if you are in the mood for some local Indonesian cuisine. Just 20 meters from our Villa is a Warung and I wouldn't lie if I said we go there at least every other day. The food is even cheaper than other restaurants and coffee shops.
