Greetings from Bali!

Now we have been here a little over a week and it has been amazing!

Better than I thought really! The people here are nice, the nature is beautiful, the food is delicious (there is a lot of vegan and vegetarian options) and the weather has been great, except for a few cloudy days.

I don't quite get it yet that I'm going stay here for four months and actually study here. It feels like I'm just on a holiday for a week or two. But I think when school starts it's going to feel more like an everyday life. After the huge earthquake in Lombok there has been several aftershocks that you could feel here in Bali as well. I feel more safe and I can be more relaxed when I know that Asia Exchange which organized this exchange has our backs and are here to help us with everything.

You can't be scared and think about all the bad things that could happen all the time because other wise you don't remember to enjoy the time you're here to the fullest. Of course you have to be careful but the time here flies so we have to try and take in all the good stuff as much as we can.

If you ever consider studying abroad and especially in Asia I can already say just do it!
